Livelihood Support is a key initiative aimed at empowering visually impaired individuals to become self-reliant and financially independent. The program focuses on skill development, vocational training, and employment opportunities tailored to the abilities and interests of people who are blind or have low vision. By offering specialized training in areas such as handicrafts, computer literacy, massage therapy, and small-scale entrepreneurship, the initiative helps participants gain confidence and achieve sustainable income sources.
Through partnerships with local businesses, government schemes, and social enterprises, the program ensures that trained individuals are connected to real-world job opportunities or supported in setting up their own ventures. In addition, financial literacy workshops and mentorship programs are provided to strengthen their understanding of savings, budgeting, and business management.
